All products sold at American Fire Grill are brand new and include the original manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty length and coverage terms vary depending on the manufacturer and specific product.
Manufacturer warranties typically cover defects in materials and workmanship for a defined period. Details about the warranty coverage can be found on the product page or in the manufacturer documentation included with your appliance.
If a warranty claim is needed during the manufacturer warranty period, our support team can assist in coordinating the process with the manufacturer.
Extended Protection Plan
Extend Your Coverage with Consumer Priority Service (CPS)
To provide additional peace of mind, American Fire Grill partners with Consumer Priority Service (CPS) to offer extended protection plans for many appliances.
A CPS protection plan extends your coverage beyond the manufacturer’s warranty and helps protect your investment against unexpected repair costs.
Depending on the product and manufacturer warranty, total protection coverage can extend up to eight years. For example:
• 3-year manufacturer warranty
• +5 years CPS protection
• = Up to 8 years of total coverage
What Your Protection Plan Includes
A CPS protection plan provides:
• 100% parts and labor coverage for approved repairs
• In-home service for most large appliances
• Product replacement if the unit cannot be repaired
• No service fees or deductibles
• Coverage for damage caused by power surges, heat, dust, or humidity
• $250 food loss reimbursement if a covered refrigerator or freezer fails
CPS manages the entire service process, helping ensure repairs are handled quickly and professionally.
Why Add a Protection Plan?
Manufacturer warranties are often limited in duration and may exclude certain repair scenarios after the initial coverage period.
A CPS protection plan helps ensure that your appliance remains protected for years, reducing the risk of unexpected repair costs and providing convenient service support when you need it.
When You Can Add Coverage
The timing for adding a CPS protection plan depends on the type of manufacturer warranty:
If the manufacturer warranty includes parts and labor:
You may purchase a CPS plan any time up to 90 days before the manufacturer warranty expires.
If the manufacturer warranty includes parts only:
The CPS plan must be purchased at the time of the original product purchase.
After a Repair
Your coverage continues for the full term of the protection plan, even after repairs are completed.
The only exception is when a product is replaced under the protection plan, in which case the coverage concludes.
What Is Not Covered
CPS protection plans do not cover:
• Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, or appearance issues)
• Intentional or accidental misuse
• Labor required to unstack appliances
• Routine maintenance or cleaning services
Filing a Claim
If your appliance requires service under the protection plan, filing a claim is simple.
Visit the CPS claims portal to begin the process. CPS will coordinate the repair, service technician, or replacement if necessary.
